![]() Too often people doing tutorials will just assume knowledge and skip past stuff, so step one will be more like 'put it in the data folder' without giving the full directory. I'm a klutz so I appreciate things clearly spelled out like you've done it. I'm sure I had tried this but I must have had the launcher open already and it just didn't refresh so I wrote it off as the wrong place and went back to messing around with documents/my games/enderal. I thought that the workshop button would just link me to the workshop page.Ī good that got it, thanks. It doesn't automatically install like workshop files in other games. (This part screwed me up the most)Įxtra note for Workshop mods: If you install a mod from the workshop, you must use the steam workshop button on the launcher and install the mod from there. Hit the 'save changes' button, or it remembers nothing. I loaded the enderal launcher, hit the 'data files' button and selected the checkmark next to the mod.ģ. I dropped the mod into the steam/steamapps/common/enderal/data folder.Ģ. Maybe this will help you since you just need the single mod.ġ. It seems like a little thing but this mod is a huge qol fix for me, where the default Skyrim movement speed is either too fast or too slow, where you run either like an Olympian or walk like the elderly. While there's a note that says there were some issues the lost comment says they've been resolved. You're list doesn't include the mod I want, while that one there has a lot more and does (row 154). Which I did but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next with it.īefore that though what's the difference between the compatibility list in the google doc you've linked and this one that I found while searching for a fix: Simply create this Folder and move the *.ini from Enderal into that folder and rename. To get TES5EDIT to work you need Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPref.ini in a Skyrim folder in MyDocuments. Otherwise TES5EDIT don't finds the ESMs and ESPs. TES5EDIT: You must move the TES5EDIT EXE into the Folder with the enderal launcher. Oh I didn't notice when I first made the post but what I thought was to upload the mod to my game may actually be to upload to the steam workshop?įrom the google doc though the key info I need is in the Home page row 23: Many mods dont work (without a patch) cause its pretty different. Originally posted by overdev:Yes its a seperate folder and everything but its still skyrim. So can I or how do I resolve this error in the Enderal launch tool without re-installing Skyrim again? very familiar, but digging around some more I see suggestions to uses the various mod tools like Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer, but those don't seem to be working for me with just Enderal installed and not Skyrim. I'm not sure if there's a specific place you're supposed to create the Enderal folder, but I already have it in Documents\My Games\Enderal so I create the folder "Data" there and drop the file "RealisticHumanoidMovementSpeed.esp" into it.īut when I select this folder in Upload modification the top root gives has an error "Error! Invalid root name!". "First create a new folder and name it Enderal, which holds the subfolder Data." So I'm in the Enderal launcher Upload Modification section, where the directions say: I only want to install a single movement speed mod, which is in the compatibility list. Can't play the game without being able to save.I'm on a new PC with a fresh Windows/Steam installation, and it's been a while since I played/modded Skyrim. (Yes, my Enderal.ini does exist in the path described)Īny help would be spectacular, it's probably something obvious I haven't considered yet and I'll feel stupid afterwards. Verify game integrity (It says 4 files were reacquired.every time.) If you do the default Enderal install, you wont be able to play your modded Skyrim until you uninstall Enderal and it puts the original Skyrim files back in place. Quicksaving, manually saving, autosaving, all doesn't do it.
